Tony has expertise in a variety of IT areas, including IT strategy planning, systems integration, cost optimization, outsourcing, IT operations management and applications development. His client work includes CIO operational roles and a variety of large systems integration and technical infrastructure rationalization and renovation programs. Tony has also been responsible for various applications development and maintenance engagements, including off-shore migrations. He has been active throughout his career in several industry segments, including financial, transportation, manufacturing and consumer.

Examples of recent client experiences include:

• Serving as interim CIO for a large independent brokerage firm, leading the IT function through a comprehensive service stabilization and structural improvement program
• Serving as interim group CIO for a consumer and industrial products global manufacturing company, based in the UK, leading the design and launch of a 3 year IT transformation plan
• Leading the IT due diligence for a US metals manufacturing company on behalf of a private equity firm
• Developing an IT turnaround plan for a regional real estate development company

Prior to joining AlixPartners, Tony was a Vice President at EDS, where he held executive and management responsibilities over several geographic markets and large global accounts. Tony started his career at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), where he was a consulting manager.

Tony earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the Universidad Central and a MBA degree from ESADE, both in Barcelona, Spain.
