Keith Gillespie is an experienced international consultant and manager and has worked with companies and clients in North America, South America, and Europe. His primary experience is in the areas of operational improvement, and corporate strategy with particular emphasis on sales force effectiveness and supply chain management.
Keith has held senior level positions with leading management consulting companies, as well as senior line management positions in several high tech companies. He has managed worldwide software organizations responsible for implementing ERP and supply chain management software applications. He also has experience with venture funding and new company ventures through his own experience of starting a high tech infrastructure company.
At AlixPartners, Keith has served in various Chief Restructuring Officer (CRO) roles or worked directly with management teams to improve the performance of their business. His roles include acting as interim COO for an international distributor of office products – with operations in North and South America, 13 European countries, and Australia – as it seeks to stabilize its sales and cut $60+ mm from its cost structure. Keith has also assisted a $28 billion US grocery retailer to reduce store and DC inventory through the implementation of demand-based ordering processes and demand-based replenishment processes. Keith was the CRO at AT&T Latin America, where he led a team that turned the company around in 5 months—generating the first quarterly profits in the company’s history and realizing a 100% return to its secured creditors.
Prior to joining AlixPartners, Keith served as Vice President of High Tech Consulting for i2 Technologies, Inc. In this role, he was responsible for worldwide implementations of i2’s supply chain management applications in the Telecom, Consumer Electronics, Computers & Electronics, and Semiconductor segments.
Prior to i2, Keith was a Principal in the Global Strategy Services Practice of Luminant Worldwide, an integrated Internet strategy and systems integration company. He also served as a Senior Vice President at TenFold Corporation, a provider of mission critical software applications. In addition, Keith was a Senior Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, Inc. where he served clients in a variety of industries including high tech, chemicals, oil & gas, transportation, and electric utilities. While at McKinsey, Keith was a leader in the firm’s sales force and channel management practice, and its marketing strategy practice.
Keith holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Arizona State University. He earned an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he graduated with honors as an Arjay Miller Scholar.
