Vinzenz is financial executive in the Munich office of AlixPartners with considerable experience in operational strategy and effectiveness, manufacturing, supply chain management, and procurement in industries such as automotive, machinery, shipping, airline, and consumer goods.
Prior to joining AlixPartners, Vinzenz was an Associate Principal with McKinsey & Co. where he demonstrated thought leadership and problem-solving skills as a leader in the European Operations Strategy and Effectiveness practice.
Some examples of his recent client experience include:
- Implemented a turnaround program for a leading global manufacturer of medical goods, including relocation of plants, productivity improvement, reorganization, and cost reduction
- Developed a restructuring program for a German automotive supplier, including purchasing and working capital optimization, manufacturing relocation, and product modification
- Developed a portfolio strategy for a US-based automotive supplier, consisting of regional expansion, technology strategy, and M&A activities
- Implemented a transformation program for a leading European manufacturer of commercial vehicles, including design and implementation of a world-class assembly plant
- Designed and implemented a growth strategy and operational improvement program for a Saudi Arabian high-tech manufacturer
Vinzenz holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg, and masters and doctorate degrees in business administration from the University of Cologne. He is fluent in German and English, and has a basic understanding of French.
