AlixPartners Adds Controller and Business Development Executive To Support the Firm’s Growth

SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN (October 17, 2007) – AlixPartners, the global restructuring, consulting, and financial advisory firm, announced the appointment of two new directors: Donald Vogt who joins the Southfield, Michigan office as director and controller, and Sean Dowd who joins the New York office as a business development director.

Vogt is responsible for the firm’s global finance operations including accounting, audit, internal controls, and external reporting. Prior to joining AlixPartners, he served as Vice President and Controller for UGS PLM Software, a division of Siemens Automation and Drives, headquartered in Plano, Texas. In that role, he was responsible for the company’s global finance operations, including accounting and external reporting. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from Benedictine College, and he is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accountant.

Dowd is a senior sales executive who joins AlixPartners from Ernst & Young based in Boston where he had been regional business development executive for the firm’s Fraud Investigation & Dispute Services practice. Before that, he held executive sales management roles for two startup firms. He began his career in sales with Dun & Bradstreet Corporation where he spent 15 years in numerous roles and business units. He received his bachelor’s degree in political science from Providence College in Rhode Island, and he is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute.
