AlixPartners Adds Supply Chain Expert to the London Office

LONDON, 17 December 2007 – AlixPartners, the global restructuring, consulting, and financial advisory firm, announced the appointment of a new director, Gary Turner, who joins the firm’s London office.

Turner is a supply chain and operations performance improvement specialist with hands-on experience in the automotive, industrial products and aerospace sectors. He has successfully implemented a number of major strategic operations improvement programmes for blue-chip organisations in the UK, USA, mainland Europe, Southeast Asia and China, concentrating on supply chain transformation, direct and indirect cost reduction, lean process implementation and low cost sourcing.

Joining AlixPartners from PricewaterhouseCoopers, Turner formerly led the Operations consulting practice with partner responsibility for consulting services for manufacturing businesses. He began his manufacturing career in the automotive industry working for Rover Group, Jaguar Cars and Ford. He holds a BSc degree in applied sciences, an MSc degree in engineering metallurgy, and an MBA from the University of Warwick. He is a Chartered Engineer.
