AlixPartners Adds Mark Moon, Supply Chain Expert, to its Southfield Office

SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN (April 28, 2008) – AlixPartners, the global restructuring, consulting, and financial advisory firm, announced the appointment of Mark Moon as a director in the firm’s Performance Improvement practice. He will be based in Southfield, Michigan.

Moon is a versatile, seasoned supply chain management executive and logistics and distribution operations specialist. He has 18 years of experience with project management, process and systems implementation, and operations management, including serving in key leadership roles in program management, operations improvement, warehouse design and operations, network optimization, supply chain integration, process and systems implementation, 3PL outsourcing, enterprise transformation, logistics, and sales and inventory planning. He has served companies throughout Europe, Mexico, and the Asia-Pacific region. Most recently, he was a principal in Operations Services with A.T. Kearney in Atlanta.

Moon holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a member of the Warehousing Education and Research Council and the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals.
