Truitt has more than 26 years of consulting and management experience with a successful track record of leading companies through major business change, operational improvements, turnarounds and mergers and acquisitions. He has significant experience in the consumer products, retail, distribution and manufacturing industries.

Prior to joining AlixPartners, Truitt was the chief executive officer of Ever-Fresh Products, a consumer products venture in Minneapolis. He was also formerly a partner with Waterstone Management Group, LLC, where he assisted CEOs and private equity firms by implementing growth and M&A initiatives. Before that, he had an eight-year career with Ernst & Young, where he was an equity partner serving in the roles of National Consumer Products Industry Leader and National Merger Integration Practice Leader for Products. When the firm merged with Cap Gemini to become Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, he served as the Area VP of the Central Region Products Business Unit. He began his career at Andersen Consulting (Accenture).

Truitt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from Oklahoma State University.
