AlixPartners Adds IT Expert and Litigation Consultant to its New York Office

SOUTHFIELD, MI (March 13, 2007) – AlixPartners, the international corporate turnaround, performance improvement and financial advisory firm, announced the addition of two directors, Margaret Adams and Lisa Perfetti, to its New York Office.

Adams (age 51) brings 25 years of experience as a chief information officer, division president, and corporate marketing and operations strategist. She has extensive experience leading complex, multi-divisional domestic and European reorganizations supported by technology and business practice improvements in customer service and supply chain organizations. Her industry expertise includes manufacturing and distribution of office products, converted point-of-sales products, including fraud prevention, barcode and product identification media, hardware and software. Prior to joining AlixPartners, she was with Avery Dennison in California, and her other previous work experience includes Esselte Europe and Nashua Corporation. Adams holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont and an MBA with a concentration in finance from Washington University, St. Louis.

Perfetti (age 45) has more than twenty years of experience as a litigation consultant, specializing in dispute analysis, complex data management and analysis, class actions, forensic investigations and large-scale project management matters. She has provided accounting and financial consulting to attorneys in cases involving diverse industries, including major international financial services, government transportation, professional services, real estate, printing and publishing, manufacturing and consumer products, technology, insurance and education. She has consulted in securities class action litigation, Title VII discrimination, class action class administration, lost profits fraudulent conveyance, directors and officers’ liability, accountant malpractice, breach of contract, false advertising, lender liability, post-acquisition disputes and white-collar crimes. Prior to joining AlixPartners, she was a managing director in the forensic and litigation consulting services practice of FTI Consulting in New York City. Prior to that, Perfetti was a partner in the dispute advisory services practice of Arthur Andersen LLP. She received her bachelor’s degree in management and accounting from Ithaca College, and she holds an MBA in finance and management information systems from Syracuse University. She is a registered CPA in New York.
