AlixPartners Adds Four New Directors
SOUTHFIELD, MI (May 1, 2007) – AlixPartners, the international corporate turnaround, performance improvement and financial advisory firm, announced the appointment of four new directors: Sean Renshaw in the Chicago office; Randy Johnson in the Dallas office; Ketav Shah in the New York office; and James Latham in the Southfield, Michigan office.
Chicago-based Renshaw specializes in computer forensics and electronic discovery. Prior to joining AlixPartners, he was a Senior Manager with Deloitte Financial Advisory Services in Washington, DC, where he led the regional Computer Forensic and Electronic Discovery practice. In addition, he previously served as a Senior Special Agent with the U.S. Customs Service, his last position being the National Program Manager for the U.S. Customs Service’s computer forensics program. He has an extensive background in conducting complex criminal investigations involving international money laundering and illegally imported merchandise. He received a bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University.
Johnson, who is based in Dallas, has thirty years of experience as an IT executive and management consultant. Prior to joining AlixPartners, he was a Client Service Executive in the Business Transformation Outsourcing practice at IBM in Denver. He had been a Partner at Coopers & Lybrand and at PricewaterhouseCoopers prior to the sale of PwC Consulting to IBM. Johnson has deep experience in strategy, infrastructure repositioning, application portfolio analysis, IT reorganization, data center migrations, consolidations, and aligning IT strategies with business objectives. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Purdue University.
Based in New York, Shah is a seasoned executive and management consultant with significant expertise in strategic sourcing, Six Sigma, organizational design, global sourcing, and change management. His industry and consulting experience includes banking, manufactured housing, airline transportation, building products, electrical products, newspaper publishing and large industrial among others. Prior to joining AlixPartners, Shah was Vice President of Procurement for United States Gypsum, a Fortune 500 building products manufacturer based in Chicago. Before that, he worked at Legrand, an electrical products manufacturer, and with McKinsey & Co. He earned his BE degree in mechanical engineering from Gujarat University, India, and he holds two master’s degrees from Syracuse University in manufacturing engineering and engineering management.
Latham, based in the Southfield, Michigan office, is a seasoned executive and general management consultant with an exceptional track record of improving operational and financial performance in the retail, automotive, and consumer products sectors. His competencies include supply chain management (sourcing, vendor management and cost reductions, asset effectiveness and inventory optimization, logistics management) and business process improvement (developing and implementing operational/organization business strategies). Prior to joining AlixPartners, Latham was Vice President of Inventory Management with Sears Holdings in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. He also previously served at Ernst & Young LLP where, as a Senior Manager in the Supply Chain Practice, he worked on numerous automotive clients. He holds a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
