AlixPartners Grows Information Technology Transformation Services Practice in London

London (23 May 07) – AlixPartners, the international corporate turnaround, performance improvement and financial advisory firm, today announces the expansion of its IT-related services with the appointment of Andrew Duncan as a Managing Director in its London office.

Mr. Duncan has more than 20 years of international management consulting and operations experience, and has consulted with both large and medium sized clients on a range of issues including corporate management and governance, corporate strategy and development, operational and supply chain strategy, strategic sourcing and procurement, global transportation distribution and logistics, post merger integration, IT strategy and transformation, as well as IT cost and service improvement. His clients have predominantly been focused in the Communications, Consumer Products and Retail, Transportation, Foodservice and Financial Services industries.

Before joining AlixPartners, he spent the prior seven years as a co-founder and management executive of Adjoined Consulting, the professional services firm that was acquired in March 2006 for $165 million by Kanbay Inc. and then subsequently by Cap Gemini. In addition to corporate management and leadership, Mr. Duncan’s primary responsibility was leadership of the strategy and operational consulting business unit.

Earlier consulting experience was gained with A.T. Kearney where he was an officer of the firm. Prior to that, he held several positions with Coopers & Lybrand and Accenture. Mr. Duncan has also worked in industry with Rolls Royce Ltd. where he started his career and later with Masco Industries and Aon Corporation.

Mr. Duncan graduated with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Imperial College of Science and Technology in London.
