IWIRC Announces Award Recipient

FAIRFAX, Va., June 1 /PRNewswire/ -- The International Women's Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC) today announced Lisa Donahue, a Managing Director of AlixPartners, as the recipient of its 2007 Woman of the Year in Restructuring Award. The award gives recognition to exceptional women across the globe who have made extraordinary contributions to the insolvency and turnaround profession in the preceding year.

Donahue, co-head of the firm's restructuring practice, is a veteran turnaround professional. She specializes in financial and operational reorganizations, an expertise that led to her being named one of New York's "Forty Under Forty" by Crain's New York Business, and an Outstanding Young Turnaround Manager by Turnarounds & Workouts.

Donahue is currently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Calpine Corporation.Calpine has $10 billion in revenue and $18 billion in debt and is one of the most complicated restructurings in U.S. history. Among several other leadership positions held in the restructuring arena, she served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Restructuring Officer of Exide Technologies, the world's largest industrial and transportation battery producer and recycler, with operations in 89 countries. She previously served as Financial and Restructuring Advisor to Regal Cinemas, Inc.; the nation's largest theater circuit, with over $1 billion in revenue and more than $2 billion in debt. Prior to her work at Regal, Donahue served as Chief Restructuring Officer at Graham Field, where she was responsible for both the financial and operational restructuring of this publicly traded durable medical product manufacturer.
