AlixPartners Adds Operations, Supply Chain and Technology Experts

SOUTHFIELD, MI (June 21, 2007) – AlixPartners, the global restructuring, consulting, and financial advisory firm, announced the appointment of a new director in its Southfield, Michigan office, Michael Albritton, and a new director in its New York office, Steve Nezer.

Albritton has more than 10 years of global management consulting experience, specializing in operations and supply chain management. He has significant experience leading manufacturing and distribution network design analyses and implementations, as well as manufacturing and transportation efficiency improvements. He has helped companies improve their advanced planning and forecasting functions, including sales and operations planning process implementations.

Albritton is also a specialist in IT-related strategic sourcing initiatives. He has focused on the consumer products industry, but has significant experience in chemicals, applied materials, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, and forestry products as well.

Before joining AlixPartners, Albritton was a Principal with PRTM Management Consultants based in Waltham, Massachusetts. He holds a Doctorate and Master of Science degrees in industrial engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in industrial and systems engineering from the University of Florida with highest honors.

Nezer is a senior technology executive with a track record for creating and leading strategic and organizational change. His forte is aligning the IT solution set with current and future business direction to achieve profitable growth. He has in-depth knowledge and experience in supply chain optimization, large scale implementations, PMO operations, IT outsourcing, ERP solutions and e-commerce.

Nezer has held senior executive IT and operational positions with global responsibilities for all aspects of IT management including application development, infrastructure and security, process efficiencies and organizational development. He spent more than 20 years in senior executive positions as CIO, CTO, and CEO in retail, manufacturing, supply chain services, IT services, high technology, and life insurance.

Prior to joining AlixPartners, he ran his own consulting firm based in Arlington, Massachusetts concentrating on information technology and business operation transformation. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and statistics from Tel Aviv University in Israel, and an MBA from Northeastern University in Boston.
