SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN (November 4, 2009) – AlixPartners, the global restructuring, consulting and financial advisory services firm, announced that David Wireman has joined AlixPartners in its Dallas office as a director.

Wireman has 19 years of industry and consulting experience in aerospace, aviation and industrial manufacturing. He began his career designing and testing aircraft for Lockheed Martin. Since entering consulting, he has expanded his experiences to include airline and military maintenance planning and execution, performance-based maintenance management, and airline operations. He has led several whole-enterprise business and operations performance improvement campaigns which emphasized capability development, asset consolidation and balance sheet improvement. Before joining AlixPartners, he was a principal at Archstone Consulting in San Francisco, where he led their Operations Improvement practice. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan, a Master of Science degree in engineering management from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Science in engineering from the University of Michigan.
