SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN (January 21, 2010) – AlixPartners, the global business advisory firm, today announced the addition of Thomas Christenson, who joins the firm’s Enterprise Improvement practice in New York as a director.
Christenson is a senior executive with experience in crisis and strategic restructuring management. He has broad-ranging experience in the insurance, retirement, healthcare and financial technology industries. Before joining AlixPartners, he was a mergers and acquisitions banker with JP Morgan and a strategy consultant with Oliver Wyman. In those roles, he led projects to reduce cost and re-design business models for profitable growth. Most recently, he served as the chief operating officer of the Marsh & McLennan Agency.
Christenson holds an MBA from The Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College and a BA with honors in economics and political science from Colgate University.
