Bruce Den Uyl has extensive experience providing valuation and financial consulting in a wide range of industries, from old economy heavy industry to cutting edge high technology and healthcare companies. He has prepared valuations for mergers and acquisitions, fairness opinions, bankruptcies and issues of solvency and has acted as a consultant to companies for the purpose of establishing values for acquisitions and divestitures. Bruce has also been a financial advisor to numerous public and private companies, creditors' committees and debtors on a broad range of financial issues including financial investigations, cash flow forecasting, and debt and equity restructurings. Bruce has extensive experience providing intellectual property analyses of patents, trademarks, and technology; including valuations and expert testimony for clients in a diverse range of industries both domestically and internationally. He has assisted companies in determining appropriate royalty rates for licensing purposes, and has testified as an expert in numerous patent and trademark infringement cases. Bruce also has extensive experience as an expert witness, testifying in a broad range of federal and state court cases throughout the United States. He has provided testimony in acquisition disputes, patent and trademark cases, fraudulent conveyance matters, minority shareholder actions, security matters, antitrust, ERISA cases, reasonable compensation, bankruptcy matters, and cases involving the estimation of financial damages. In addition, Bruce has prepared several intercompany pricing studies for multinational corporations, and has provided economic support for clients under IRS audit. He also has directed numerous studies involving economic and industry forecasting, and economic modeling. Bruce has spoken widely on a broad range of economic, financial, and valuation issues. Bruce holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics (cum laude) from Lawrence University and a Master of Science degree in resource economics from the University of Michigan. He also has completed the coursework for a Ph.D. in resource economics through the University of Michigan.
