Thierry Duvette is a talented and highly skilled Aerospace & Defense expert at AlixPartners with an extensive experience in organizations restructuring, program management, R&D, marketing & sales, communication, strategic sourcing and change management. With 25 years hands-on experience both as an industry executive and as a consultant, his cross vision of the company and results oriented approach lead to reduce risks, speed-up innovation and increase profitability on urgent situations.

Prior to joining AlixPartners, Thierry was the Vice President Aircraft Systems purchasing at Dassault Aviation. Before that he was Deputy Vice President External relations & Communications during the complete restructuring of the Company. Prior to that, he held various positions as Project manager and Program Director for the Rafale aircraft.

• Assessment & restructuring of major support functions of a large aerospace Group (Sales & marketing, HR, comm)
• Major projects to restructure the Sales & Marketing organizations of aerospace  companies (space, helicopters)
• Restructuring of  the Purchasing Equipment Division of an Aircraft OEM, definition and implementation of the purchasing strategy, major negotiations with international risk sharing partners on business jet program
• Restructuring and management of the communication organization of an aerospace OEM; change management during company complete restructuring, support to the creation of joint ventures with other major aerospace OEMs
• Operational restructuring of a leading manufacturer of  handling systems including manufacturing footprint optimization
• Growth strategy & commercial plan for an aerostructures supplier
• Several projects related to Human Resources policy, portfolio products marketing strategy and corporate strategy
• Major strategic sourcing project for an Helicopter OEM (26 commodities addressed, 15% recurrent savings achieved)

Thierry holds an Engineering Degree from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Techniques Avancées and an MBA from HEC business school in Paris with a specialization in Mergers and Acquisitions. His native language is French and he speaks English fluently.
Thierry is a member of the CEPS, of the AFIC and of the AJPAE in Paris.
