Etlin, Holly Felder.

Holly is a seasoned executive with nearly 30 years of experience providing restructuring and turnaround services to companies in the media, retail, distribution, consumer products, financial services and healthcare industries. Before joining AlixPartners, she was a Principal with XRoads Solutions Group in New York. 

Currently, Holly co-leads AlixPartners' Middle Market Restrucuriing practice.  In 2007, the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) recognized Holly with its Turnaround of the Year Award for the successful restructuring of Winn-Dixie Stores.

Prior engagements include:
 

  • Turnaround Advisor to New England based education and conference company. Worked with mgmt. to develop a detailed business plan and cash flow forecast, including a significant internal restructuring and cost reduction program.
     
  • Restructuring Advisor to a children’s international broadcast media and entertainment company. Worked with mgmt to develop a business plan to separate a major business unit in preparation for a sale and re-financing process.
  • Interim-Chief Financial Officer of Freedom Communications, a $700m media company consisting of 30 daily newspapers, magazines and nine broadcasting stations located in regional areas across the country. She focused on accelerating operational restructuring, enhancing liquidity, cost reductions and regional centralization
     
  • CRO and acting-CEO of Tanner & Haley, one of the largest luxury destination clubs in the US. The company had been the subject of allegations of major fraud and mismanagement. Holly stabilized the business and merged it with another destination club business within six months, preserving over 90% of the members and employees.


Holly holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Los Angeles.  She is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA) and Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP).  She is also a past Chairman of the Turnaround Management Association, and a member of American Bankruptcy Institute, Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors, and International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation.
