His specific area of expertise is in driving rapid results in the areas of profitability and margin improvement, operational and service delivery improvement and in enacting whole-company turnarounds in the Business & Consumer Services and Media and Entertainment Industries.
Within the Service industry, Mr. Facer has led a variety of results-oriented projects in the areas of SG&A realignment, field operations management, real estate/footprint optimization, sourcing-related cost reductions, market penetration & revenue growth strategies, and post merger integration.

Prior to joining AlixPartners, Darin led consulting engagements for Andersen Business Consulting, KPMG Consulting and the Management Consulting Division of Perot Systems. Before becoming a professional advisor, Mr. Facer held various corporate financial and operational management roles including his tenure as the controller of a major temporary labor provider to the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games.
Darin holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, with concentrations in Operations, Finance, and International Business and a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
