Alain is a seasoned professional with extensive international operational experience in various manufacturing industries. He has a solid track record of delivering step-change improvements in performance and in results-oriented management consulting. Prior to joining AlixPartners, he was a Vice President with A.T. Kearney in charge of operations in Paris. Before that, he was a Director with Coopers & Lybrand Consulting in its manufacturing and logistics practices.

Prior to becoming a consultant, Alain held various operational positions in the industry with Alsthom Diesel Engines and Saunier-Duval (boiler industry), mainly in production and industrial engineering.

Alain has worked across industries with special emphasis on aerospace and defense, automotive, and manufacturing industries. He has worked with many of the leading OEMs and equipment manufacturers around the globe developing and implementing turnaround and breakthrough improvement programs:

• Turnaround program of an aerospace OEM attacking both cost structure and top line, which delivered within 2 years close to 1B€ of EBIT contribution and 3.5 B€ improvement in cash position.
• Industrial strategy (product portfolio review, make/buy strategy, global manufacturing footprint redesign) for several equipment manufacturer businesses
• Operations improvement programs (cost reduction, sourcing, lean manufacturing, lead time reduction, supply chain restructuring, organization redesign)
• Large scale transformation programs (restructuring, PMI, sourcing)

Alain graduated from ENSAM (Arts & Metiers) and has a master’s degree in business management from ICG School of Management. His native language is French and he speaks English fluently.
