Piero has more than twenty years of experience in strategic, operational and advisory work with national and international clients in different industry sectors, including automotive, food, retail, healthcare and pharmaceuticals. His areas of expertise include strategic information technology, supply chain management, eProcurement and sourcing, innovation management, business process re-engineering, change management. Prior to joining AlixPartners, he was a partner with A.T. Kearney and a leader in its Technology & Transformation and Operations and Automotive practices for the Mediterranean Unit. Previously, Piero was at Honeywell Information Systems working on solutions for industrial companies. Over the years, Piero has effectively developed the capability to transform a strategic vision into operative business solutions in very complex contexts, enabling the implementation of deep transformation processes and the achievement of a significant performance turnaround. Piero is the co-author of two books, The Digital Market: - Strategies and Models to Win in the New Economy (2000) and Innovation Manual – Strategy, Organization and Technology (2006). He has also written several articles and has been a speaker at numerous events addressing a variety of operations and innovation, healthcare and information technology topics. Piero holds a degree in mechanical engineering specializing in management from the Politecnico of Milan. He speaks fluent Italian and English and conversational German.
