Neveux, Francois

Francois is a seasoned manager and consultant with an extensive background in restructuring and operations performance improvement. His 18 years experience cover numerous industries: Automotive, Aerospace / Defense, Transportation, Electronics, Utilities, Textile.

François is a founding member of AlixPartners in France (end 2005). Prior to this, François worked 7 years for Renault (engine manufacturing in Mexico, electronics engineering in Technocentre), 3 years for Thales Avionics (including turnaround of an LCD panel manufacturing plant) and 3 years for the Automotive / Aerospace practice of A.T.Kearney in Paris.

François worked with investors, banks an top management of industrial companies developing and implementing competitive strategies and turnaround programs throughout Europe. Assignments include:

  • Restructuring of major textile sport brand operations : company value increased by 50% in 1 year
  • Restructuring of worldwide automotive Tier 1 under Chapter 11 : supplier out of chap. 11 after 1,5 years
  • Reengineering of vehicle development processes to improve reliability and reduce warranty costs by 20%
  • Turnaround of major Defense Program dealing with major delays and over-costs
  • Setting up auto dealership performance improvement plan for a multi-brand automotive OEM
  • Turnaround of a major aircraft OEM : lead major purchasing initiatives (pure re-negotiations, redesign to cost…)
  • Negotiating sale of a 4bn€ Space program, including lobbying to get institutional support
  • Performance improvement of a major public transport player, basis of one of the biggest French LBO


François holds a Master of Engineering degree from SUPAERO (Ecole Nationale Supérieure de l’Aéronautique et de l’Espace) and an MBA from INSEAD with honors (top 10%). He is fluent in English, French, and Spanish.
