We are looking for a highly driven Senior Vice President, who is passionate about delivering high value solutions, to join our Digital practice. We are seeking professionals who have the combination of capability, drive, training, and intellectual curiosity that typically predicts success at AlixPartners.

What you’ll do:

Our Digital Solutions experts work within integrated teams from performance improvement to turnaround and restructuring; meaning the jobs we do cover the gamut of every layer of business. Along with this, our seasoned professionals are recognized as leaders in their respective fields, using their skills and experience to create measurably improved outcomes for our clients. In this challenging role, you will be responsible for using your new-age analytics skillset to drive both revenue and cost improvements in ‘high stakes’ situations.

Specifically, you will partnering with client supply chain and operations executives to design and deploy digital solutions that have immediate bottom-line impact to the organization. One example of past work includes setting up a 1B+ supply chain cost reduction program by applying advanced AI/ML driven digital solutions for a fortune 500 consumer products company. 

What you’ll need:

Ideal Candidate qualifications:

  • Industries and Services
    • Recognized for knowledge and experience within Consumer Products, Manufacturing or Retail.
    • Knowledge of supply chain topics with experience in business and technology in 2-3 of following areas:
      • Planning: demand/ supply planning, Sales & operations planning, material requirement planning
      • Inventory management: safety stock, fill rate, inventory optimization
      • Supply chain footprint: Distribution/ manufacturing footprint optimization
      • Plant management: Industrial IoT, Plc, labor management, scheduling, waste reduction etc.
      • eCommerce: self-portal (e.g., Hybris, Shopify) and major channels (e.g., Amazon, Walmart.com)
  • Client Delivery
    • Consistent track record of successfully structuring and leading multi-year, multimillion dollar digital supply chain transformation engagements to desired results, delivering hard dollar savings, meeting, or exceeding client expectations.
    • Understands and adapts to complex client environments and situations
    • Superb written communication skills
    • Independently prepares client ready documents and presentations.
    • Knowledge of Agile methodology and Scrum practices
  • Analytics and problem solving 
    • Views problems from the 'big picture POV', recognizing critical areas to drive into more detail. Quickly structures approaches to solve complex problems. Remains balanced and flexible while anticipates and changes direction as necessary.
    • Synthesizes information rapidly and applies good business judgment quickly to deliver deep insights into possible impacts and solutions
    • Analytical, adept at quickly defining, aligning, and scaling data modeling and management approach with the client needs. Ensures 80/20 approach to rapidly draw conclusions. Skilled and quickly identifying anomalies, inconsistencies, errors, and conclusions.
    • Expertise in capturing, cleaning & organizing large sets of data (500 Million+ records).
    • Hands on experience with visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), data modeling, data warehouses, AI/ML (e.g., Python, R) and Cloud analytical platforms such as Azure Analytics, Databricks, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure Data Factory.
  • Leadership and executive experience
    • Engenders client confidence and trust with executives at all levels. Builds advisory relationships with clients and peers.  COO and CIO relationships are key for project success.
    • Skilled at defining, communicating, motivating, and leading change at executive levels and across the firm.
    • Articulate, persuasive, communicator. Commands the room, handles executive and difficult audiences well. Readily adapts style and message appropriately to audience and circumstance. Excellent at impromptu communication during complex discussions.
  • Business and Practice Development
    • Experience with proposal development, strong commercial instincts, and interest. Generates growing demand for other firm resources in prospective and existing clients while remaining highly utilized. Consistently extend work for him/herself and others team members on client projects. Identifies and cultivates new opportunities.
    • An inspiring leader, innovative with the development of new tools, methodologies, and approaches.
    • Experience in building talent through coaching, recruiting and day-to-day leadership.

Work & Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in applied mathematics, engineering, statistics, machine learning, computer science or foreign equivalent. Master's degree and/or certification in related specialty area(s) preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience leading projects utilizing advanced technologies including knowledge in a broad base of analytic tools and coding languages such as SQL, R, Python.
  • 3+ years of related consulting experience in a professional services firm environment preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
