PrideMatters town hall discussion - history and significance of Pride Month

To mark LGBT Pride Month, PrideMatters, our employee resource group dedicated to promoting LGBTQ-friendly changes in our work environment, held its first town hall meeting in Dallas. The group discussed topics impacting the LGBTQ community as well as the history and significance of pride month. The session was moderated by members of Resource Center, a nonprofit and leading LGBTQ and HIV/AIDS service organization that operates one of the largest LGBTQ community centers in the United States. Together they discussed ways in which the center serves more than 60,000 people annually through its programs and services and how it and other nonprofits are acting as advocates for the LGBTQ communities.
