MILAN – This year began with a commitment to LGBT Diversity & Inclusion by AlixPartners Italia, the global consulting firm as AlixPartners joined Parks – Liberi e Uguali, a non-profit organization founded to help member companies understand and optimize the business potential linked to the development of strategies and conducts respectful of diversity for LGBT working people.
Joining Parks – Liberi e Uguali is an important chance for AlixPartners Italia to develop synergies and relationships with the other members, pursue training to raise awareness about LGBT people’s diversity and inclusion in workplace. This will help share value, experiences, challenges and success with the network of important member companies whose common mission is building workplaces where diversity and inclusion are a main competitive advantage.
AlixPartners’ membership in Parks – Liberi e Uguali is aligned with its global objective around diversity and inclusion in all the offices where it operates. Last year, several goals were reached including working with affiliate companies like Parks and the equalization of heterosexual and homosexual couples’ benefits throughout AlixPartners.
Earlier this year, AlixPartners has - for the second year in a row - earned a perfect score of 100% on the Corporate Equality Index (CEI) created by the American association Human Rights Campaign (HRC). This score ranks AlixPartners among the HRC’s 2019 “Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality.” the Corporate Equality Index is an American benchmarking survey that evaluates the LGBTQ-related corporate policies and practices of more than 1,000 companies, including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive healthcare benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBTQ community.
