Retail and consumer industry expert Peter Heckmann joins AlixPartners as a managing director in Dusseldorf

AlixPartners, the global consulting firm, today announced that retail and consumer expert Peter Heckmann has joined the firm’s Performance Improvement practice as a Managing Director. Peter will be based in AlixPartners’ Dusseldorf, Germany office.

Peter has more than 25 years of consulting experience and is a highly regarded strategy and operations leader, in the retail and consumer industry. At AlixPartners, Peter will work with clients looking to develop and implement plans to drive sustainable profitable growth in one of the global economy’s most challenging industry sectors.

Peter joins AlixPartners from consultancy Strategy&, where he was a partner and leader of that firm’s “Fit for Growth” platform in EMEA. Prior to that he spent fourteen years with another consulting firm, Booz Allen Hamilton, where he rose through the ranks from analyst to partner.

Peter holds a diploma in engineering from the Technical University of Braunschweig and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
