Thomas Cook Group plc and certain group companies (in Compulsory Liquidation)

LONDON (September 23, 2019) - On 23 September 2019, the High Court appointed the Official Receiver as liquidator of the companies listed below on the petition of the companies’ directors. Simultaneously, the Court also appointed Simon Appell, Alastair Beveridge, Dan Imison and Ben Browne as Special Managers of the companies to support the liquidator.

The Special Managers were appointed to help manage the affairs, business and property of the companies, in accordance with the powers and duties contained in the order appointing them.

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), with assistance from the Special Managers will be coordinating the repatriation of UK Thomas Cook customers. 

A dedicated website has been set up by the CAA for customers and any affected passengers currently overseas or travelling in the future should contact the CAA at Thomascook.caa.co.uk. Suppliers providing on-going services associated with the repatriation will be contacted by the CAA directly.
