Harrison has more than 10 years of consulting, private-equity, and industry experience in delivering projects across a range of areas such as consumer products, high technology, life sciences, and energy. He has extensive management consulting experience, focusing on profitability improvement via operational and SG&A cost reduction, organizational restructuring, and growth strategy development. Previously, he was an investment professional at Valor Equity Partners, a $1-billion growth fund, where he oversaw investment structuring and execution, due diligence of potential acquisitions, and investment prospect generation. He was also a research scientist in a consortium between GE, Argonne Labs, the Department of Energy, and multiple research institutions.
Harrison has an MBA in finance and operations management as well as a Master of Science in nuclear engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
