SUMMARY
Joe has extensive experience in advising family-owned businesses, private-equity groups, and corporations. As a trusted advisor, Joe has originated, marketed, and closed more than 100 mergers-and-acquisitions transactions as well as capital-raising assignments. Previously, Joe was in investment banking, was in a highly selective executive program at HSBC, was an analyst on buy-side transactions for McGraw-Hill, and began his career as an auditor at Ernst & Young, where he passed the CPA exam. Joe received an accounting degree from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA in finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he completed independent research for two Nobel laureates. At both universities, Joe serves as a moderator or panelist for their respective private-equity events.
