Takeshi has more than 25 years of experience in strategy building and hands-on execution as both corporate executive and consultant. He has guided large corporations’ go-to-market, business process reengineering and whole-company turnarounds in such industries as high tech, industrial goods, precision machinery, automotive original equipment manufacturers, and automotive suppliers. Previously, as executive vice president at Via Mechanics, he led a whole-company turnaround and carve-out transaction. He was also a director at Tokyo Electron, leading a ramp-up of the firm’s maintenance and service business. Before that, at McKinsey & Company, he led a number of projects in corporate strategy, marketing, sales operation improvement, business process reengineering and manufacturing improvement. He started his career at Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
Takeshi has an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh’s Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business and a Master of Engineering in electronics engineering from Nagoya University.
