Over his 36-year career Larry has assisted companies and financial institutions with criminal and regulatory investigations in the US and abroad, large class action lawsuits, conducted corporate internal investigations and legislative hearings.
In addition to working in private practice, Larry was the Deputy Police Commissioner and Chief Legal Officer of the NYPD from 2014-2018 supervising 100 lawyers who handled legal matters for the 56,000 NYPD employees. Also established the NYPD Risk Management Bureau which had over 200 personnel who oversaw and managed the risk issues faced by the department.
From 1988-92 he served as Assistant US Attorney in the SDNY and from 1992-94 as the Deputy Chief of the Organized Crime & Racketeering Section of the Criminal Division of the US Department of Justice in Washington, DC. Larry graduated from Hofstra University and the New York University School of Law.
