Michael brings significant experience in partnering with management teams, lenders, and sponsors to develop financial, operational, and strategic solutions for clients in distressed situations. He has assisted troubled companies with a range of operational and financial restructuring needs in various industries and specializes in cash forecasting and preservation, distressed M&A and asset dispositions, business planning, stakeholder management, and general contingency planning. Beyond debtor representation, Michael has acquired deep expertise in interim management roles and fiduciary engagements (e.g., US SEC monitor, wind-down trustee), and cross-border restructurings. He has more than 13 years of global business experience, with a focus on restructuring, turnaround, and business improvement in various industries. He was formerly a senior director with Alvarez & Marsal and a management consultant with Accenture Strategy. Michael holds an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
