He directs teams in the quantification of economic impacts, the assessment of loss causation, the calculation of economic damages, and valuation. He has testified in federal and state courts, ICSID, ICDR, ICC, and other alternative dispute resolution forums. Rich's expert opinion has focused on market manipulation, monopolization, collusion, fraud, and price fixing.
Rich was formerly with Shell for five years in exploration & production, refining, and trading on the oil and gas derivatives desks; and Aquamarine, a hedge fund. His Doctorate and MBA were awarded with highest distinction from Harvard Business School, which he attended as a Fulbright Scholar.
