Tobias supports companies in overall organizational as well as operational transformation projects by overseeing review of companies’ business portfolios, reviewing their strategic alignments, and adapting operational models and internal processes. Tobias has over 18 years of experience in the management of national and international large-scale M&A transactions, carve-outs, and holistic business transformations. He delivers solid sector expertise in the energy, infrastructure, and chemical industries. Previously, he was head of corporate development, strategy, and M&A at one of Germany’s largest utility companies, leading a holistic transformation of the group from a conventional power producer to an environmental-social-governance-(ESG)compliant energy solutions platform and managing the overall process of the group’s sale to a new investor. Before that, he was in the construction, infrastructure, and chemical industries as a senior M&A expert as well as at a Big Four accounting firm in its transaction advisory practice.
Tobias has an MBA in economics with major focus on corporate and international finance and international management from FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management.
