SUMMARY
Vlad has over 12 years' experience as an investor, manager, and advisor to energy companies. He has deep expertise in corporate finance, asset and company valuations, and energy markets. He spent eight years in private equity where he executed investments in the energy space, including several distressed opportunities, and served as board member and interim CFO for two portfolio companies. Prior to that, he was an investment analyst in the energy group at Carlson Capital, a $10-billion hedge fund, working on long/short equity and distressed debt strategies. He was also a management consultant at McKinsey and an IT consultant at PWC.
Vlad earned an MBA from Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and holds Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in physics and math from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
