AlixPartners strengthens EMEA Digital team with new Managing Director, Gökhan Öztürk

NEW YORK (September 8, 2021) - AlixPartners, the global consulting firm, today announced that Gökhan Öztürk has joined as a Managing Director in the firm’s Digital practice, focusing on financial services (FS) clients. He will be based in the Munich office.

With 20 years of strategy, technology, and digital experience in FS, Gökhan is a widely recognized expert in providing strategic advice across a broad and diverse range of FS institutions in EMEA. He specializes in helping clients develop corporate and business unit digital strategies, executing value-driven digital transformation by designing the digital customer excellence of banks with customer-oriented omni-channel strategies and turnaround projects in consumer banking. He has also worked with fintech and asset management firms, setting strategic direction of their market growth, and conducted M&A due diligence assessments and day-to-day management of overall sales campaigns.

Gökhan joins AlixPartners from Oliver Wyman where he led the Digital Practice for Financial Services in several countries in EMEA, including Germany, Austria, Luxembourg, Russia, and Turkey, among others. Previously, Gökhan was Co-Head of Roland Berger Strategy Consultants’ Financial Services Digital & Technology Practice, and prior to that he was with Accenture’s Financial Services Practice. He has an MBA degree from Duke University’s The Fuqua School of Business. He also attended the University of California, Berkeley, where he participated in a Professional and Continuing Education program in Marketing and Corporate Strategy. In addition, Gökhan received a BSc in Electronics Engineering from Istanbul Technical University in Istanbul, Turkey. Gökhan is known as a global expert on artificial intelligence and regularly publishes on future digital themes, with articles appearing in Harvard Business Review and MIT Sloan Management Review, among others. He also has had a significant role in supporting organizations that have beneficial social impact.
