What you’ll do

Specifically, in your role within the Digital Solutions team at AlixPartners, you will help Client organizations take on their complex business problems with an analytical, data-driven approach. You will gain exposure to diverse set of industries, clients, and project roles. You will help define the business objectives, conduct client interviews, assess performance and effectiveness, and design analysis and/or build predictive and prescriptive models and be challenged to then present the business case for the value of these models to your client. Some examples of past work include predicting store performance for retailers, customer retention for telecoms, cross-selling opportunities for banks, hotel occupancy for the hospitality industry, Sales and Marketing Effectiveness for Technology companies, sales and operations planning tools for Industrial and Automotive, distribution and transportation optimization for process industries as well as improving speed to market for product development across Industries.

Job Specific Information:

In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging your business experience, Sales & Marketing expertise, problem solving skills and analytics skillset to drive both revenue and cost improvements for your clients in ‘high stakes’ situations. The Digital Revenue & Growth team strives to help clients in both B2C and B2B industries on a wide variety of marketing and sales topics. You’ll bridge marketing expertise, industry knowledge, and quantitative consulting approaches to guide our clients in defining and refining their Sales and Marketing operations to drive EBITDA improvements.

Some examples of past work include marketing spend effectiveness enhancement for Media Mix Modeling and customer retention strategies for retailers, cross-selling and up-selling opportunities for banks, telecoms, and technology companies as well as Marketing organizational redesign for a variety of clients.

What you’ll need 

  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science required.   MBA or Master’s degree is preferred. 
  • 8-12 years of total experience
  • Prior Consulting experience required   
  • Broad understanding of latest marketing trends, their impact on business strategies and operations
  • Ability to transition seamlessly from a marketing & sales perspective to consider the broader strategic and cost management challenges
  • Understanding of predictive modeling techniques.
  • Ability to co-lead projects or work streams of all sizes from inception through completion in an Agile environment.
  • Superior research, statistical, analytical, processing and mathematical skills with ability to structure and conduct analyses.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite SQL
  • A thought leader, Innovative with the development of new tools, methodologies and approaches.
  • Expert written communication skills, self-directed with preparation of client ready document and presentation development.
  • Articulate, persuasive, communicator. Commands the room, handles executive and difficult audiences well. Readily adapts style and message appropriately to audience and circumstance. Outstanding at impromptu communication under pressure.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and dynamically align to changing business conditions.
  • Understands and adapts to complex client environments and situations. Skilled at defining, communicating, motivating and driving change at executive levels and across the broader community of stakeholders.
  • High energy style, flexible and adaptive, with the ability to work well in a very fast paced environment.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 75%.
  • Willingness to work outside of normal U.S. business hours, and in particular as unique projects/needs arise.
  • Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment.
  • Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday
