What you’ll do

In this dynamic role on AlixPartners’ Corporate Services team, you will act as a recruiter and provide recruitment and sourcing support by working closely with hiring managers and the People Business Partner team to ensure a seamless recruiting experience. You will be a competent, passionate, and dedicated individual who will primarily handle full life cycle for non-client facing departments: Accounting/Finance, Marketing, Administrative, People Operations, and Legal.

The Talent Acquisition Senior Professional – Americas CS role is located in Southfield, Michigan, reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager – Americas CS. Paid relocation is not available.

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of high potential candidates for multiple departments by networking, directly sourcing talent, and utilizing firmwide tools to engage candidates across a variety of industry and functional areas.
  • Independently review resumes; conduct preliminary screenings thereby deciding if applicants are qualified; schedule and manage candidates using sound judgment throughout the recruiting process.
  • Align to global best practices for Talent Recruitment and Acquisition.
  • Strategize and partner with hiring managers to develop comprehensive job descriptions and tailored recruiting methodologies.
  • Function as a credible, trusted recruiting advisor to all stakeholders in the recruiting process.
  • Create an outstanding candidate experience for all candidates; effectively communicate the AlixPartners value proposition and culture to candidates.
  • Participate in change initiatives and projects that will enable change across talent acquisition.
  • Maintain clean data quality and up-to-date information within the firm’s Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse) and ensure all processes and required steps to recruit and onboard talent are followed.
  • Communicate updates with applicants, recruiters, and hiring managers; provide recommendations on next steps and on final offer terms to hiring team.
  • Participate in special projects and operations focused assignments.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
  • Minimum three (3) years of recruiting experience, ideally in a professional services firm environment
  • Ideal candidate will have experience/knowledge in the Accounting/Finance space
  • Experience with candidate selection, sourcing, conducting phone screens, and/or behavioral interviews
  • Organized workstyle; effectively manages and prioritizes workload, high attention to detail, assumes and manages multiple tasks without close supervision, adapts to change, and consistently meets deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills while displaying the highest degree of integrity of candidate personal information. Experienced and comfortable working and communicating directly with senior executives and professional staff
  • Proactive, self-starter and understands the urgency and confidentiality of the recruiting function
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Analytical; capable of developing and managing related reports and metrics

  • Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday
