We are looking for a highly driven Senior Vice President or Director, who is passionate about delivering high value solutions, to join our Digital practice. We are seeking professionals who have the combination of capability, drive, training, and intellectual curiosity that typically predicts success at AlixPartners.

If you join our practice, you will work with companies in all stages of their business life cycle from across a variety of urgent, high impact situations. Our elite professionals are recognized experts in their respective fields, bringing to bear their skills and experience to create measurable, improved outcomes for our clients. You will be responsible for leading projects and client engagements that focus on Digital Transformation. We advise our clients and guide their Digital future by analyzing corporate performance, driving cost reductions, revenue growth and profitability improvement across industries.  You will collaborate with fellow team members and be instrumental in developing and building a business in your area(s) of expertise. To be successful, you are commercially savvy, with a real passion and track record for business development. What you’ll need 

  • Ideal Candidate qualifications:

    • Project Responsibilities
      • Engage with client senior leadership in developing product/service vision and strategy to achieve ambitious business goals and guide product/service roadmaps, backlogs and investment
      • Define objectives and key results (with a sharp focus on business outcomes and metrics) to influence product direction, design, delivery and scaling decisions which may involve trade-offs between value, feasibility and usability
      • Adopt typical go-to-market, sales motion, branding, marketing approaches and frameworks that enable successful product/service launch and growth
      • Lead or facilitate product transformations predicated on mobile, cloud, data, and other business model changes 
      • Establish product roadmaps with customer-driven design, market and technology trends, regulatory and compliance requirements, user pain points and usability test results 
      • Identify and escalate product delivery barriers, dependencies and risks
      • Evaluate and recommend technologies, deployment models, tools, development processes, team compositions, governance and training to accelerate the development of technical solutions and achieve a unified framework for delivery consistency and quality
      • Lead product development aspects to include strategic planning, release execution, resource deployment, and overall leadership and coordination efforts
      • Determine the value of roadmap items and negotiate with business stakeholders and engineers to deliver the most value within established timelines and budgets
    • Client Delivery
      • Consistent track record of successfully structuring and leading client engagements to desired results, achieving business objectives, meeting, or exceeding client expectations.
      • Understands and adapts to complex client environments and situations

      • Independently prepares client ready documents and presentations.
      • Effectively planning and proactively mitigating risks on projects and work streams.
    • Analytics and problem solving
      • Views problems from the 'big picture POV', recognizing critical areas to drive into more detail. Quickly structures approaches to solve complex problems. Remains balanced and flexible while anticipates and changes direction as necessary.
      • Synthesizes information rapidly and applies good business judgment quickly to deliver deep insights into possible impacts and solutions
      • Analytical, adept at quickly defining, aligning, and scaling data modeling and management approach with the client needs. Ensures 80/20 approach to rapidly draw conclusions. Skilled and quickly identifying anomalies, inconsistencies, errors, and conclusions.
    • Leadership and executive experience
      • Engenders client confidence and trust with executives at all levels. Builds advisory relationships with clients and peers.
      • Skilled at defining, communicating, motivating, and leading change at executive levels and across the firm.
      • Articulate, persuasive, communicator. Commands the room, handles executive and difficult audiences well. Readily adapts style and message appropriately to audience and circumstance. Excellent at impromptu communication during complex discussions.
      • Experienced leader of small projects and/or multiple work streams of larger projects.
    • Business and Practice Development
      • Experience with proposal development, strong commercial instincts, and interest. Generates growing demand for other firm resources in prospective and existing clients while remaining highly utilized. Consistently extend work for him/herself and others team members on client projects. Identifies and cultivates new opportunities.
      • An inspiring leader, innovative with the development of new tools, methodologies, and approaches.
      • Experience in building talent through coaching, recruiting and day-to-day leadership.

    Education & Work Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or foreign equivalent. Master's degree and/or certification in related specialty area(s) preferred.
    • 5+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience, with proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior business and technology leaders (up to & including CxO)
    • 5+ years of experience creating product roadmaps, grooming product backlogs, managing multiple and/or large engagements with more than 10 resources and third-party vendors, and presenting to senior leadership and executives at Fortune 500 organizations
    • 5+ years of experience as a product manager or management consultant driving technology product and go-to-market strategies, technical execution and product operations, and coaching teams on agile product management practices
    • 3+ years of product development experience in an agile environment that reflects deep understanding of the product development lifecycle
    • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
