AlixPartners has embraced a hybrid work model to provide flexibility and support our employees’ work-life integration. Travel is part of this position, but the frequency may vary based on client, team, and individual circumstances.
What you’ll do
The successful candidate will facilitate the Information Technology portion of our new hire orientation program. They will work with Help Desk team members to coordinate the on boarding/off boarding process. This includes, but isn’t limited to ‐ set up of accounts, new equipment, and distribution to new employees. Clear communication, teamwork and professionalism are key core values that this candidate would need to display. We seek a highly organized, detail‐oriented person who can work independently and manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
- Coordinate and monitor creation of user information: user id, email, mobile phone.
- Coordinate timely set up and distribution of new equipment by directly organizing the Help Desk staff to facilitate.
- Document all processes with a remit for continuous improvement/evolution of the process
- Provide documents and instruction to new employees of Information Technology policies, standards and other important information
- Conduct training for new staff through Orientation sessions, as well as on‐going training for new products and services as necessary – launched by corporate IT.
- Manage mobile device lifecycle through Microsoft Intune
- Direct liaison closely with other departments to address any issues and concerns regarding onboarding and user detail process
- Efficient, clear communication of solutions to our clients
- Additional duties as needed
What you’ll need
- Previous experience in a similar position beneficial but not a requirement
- Customer service oriented
- Experience in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Microsoft Windows and other relevant software.
- Compel all stakeholders to adhere to the defined IT policies and procedures
- Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory beneficial
- Fluent in English; other languages useful (but not a necessity)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good planning and organizational skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proactive learner interested in advancing their career in the IT department
- Ability to co‐ordinate staff and teams to reach their goals.
- Expected to be an active/involved member of the IT department and provide feedback/ideas as appropriate
