A TEAM YOU CAN RELY ON
In late February, my wife and I learned that our second baby would be arriving early. Although I had planned ahead for a leisurely transition off my project in mid-March, clearly the baby had other plans. When we talk about “family first” values here at AlixPartners, we really mean it. The team and my MD rallied to support me during a very rapid (one week) transition – making sure the client work would continue on pace while I turned my focus to the delivery. Our baby arrived three days later, and the firm’s family leave policy provided me with much needed time to get my wife back to health and find a new routine for our now family of four.
- STEVEN FRATUS
Throughout his career, Steve has collaborated with clients to design and implement sustainable improvements by way of practical solutions. As a director in our Retail industry practice, Steve focuses on performance improvement and digital transformation. A specialist in merchandise planning and product flow, Steven has guided retailers through complex transformations and helped them realize improved operating efficiency, sourcing, supply chain optimization, and greater profit.
After six years inside a global, publicly traded corporation and 15 years in management consulting, I was looking for a role where I could help build an industry practice. I also wanted to be more focused on performance improvement projects in special situations, with a more practical, hands-on and results-oriented approach. At AlixPartners I found a fantastic family feeling, strong collaboration, and a unique and distinctive consulting model: Senior, small teams working together with our client to obtain concrete improvements.
As an Italian, I value the fact that the firm appreciates that we generally take a more creative and less structured approach to organizing the work – allowing us to manage and solve complex situations in a flexible manner. Since my very first project at AlixPartners – which turned into a multi-year advisory due to the good value creation we added – I’ve welcomed many opportunities to partner on projects and share knowledge with our global teams.
- MARCO ECCHELI

"My career background is fairly different from that of most people I've met at AlixPartners. Since day one, my colleagues have viewed that as an asset. I'm grateful for the support I receive in producing work through unique means as well as the constant stream of interaction with inspiring individuals."
