Our internships provide hands-on learning and development opportunities that accelerate early career professionals' growth and launch careers.
We utilize an apprenticeship approach, where interns work side-by-side with industry experts, are provided opportunities to lead workstreams and contribute to high-impact projects and receive regular feedback and benefit from coaching and mentoring from a dedicated "Performance Partner."

EMEA internship opportunities
France Performance and Technology consulting internship

Target candidates: Undergraduate students
Internship description: Aligned with our Performance and Technology group, interns will work on approximately 1 to 2 client cases throughout the program. On these projects, interns will be given the opportunity to own their own workstreams and contribute to client project deliverables. Each intern will also be assigned a Performance Partner that will provide regular feedback and mentoring. Successful candidates will receive a fulltime offer following completion of the program.
Business Intelligence Center summer internship

Program description: As a member of the Business Intelligence Center (BIC), interns will work closely with AlixPartners’ consulting staff to generate lead opportunities, manage pipelines, and provide company and industry research. The internship offers a dynamic learning environment where interns will practice core research and analysis skills by working together with consultants and business analysts. Following the completion of the internship, successful candidates may receive a full-time offer as a Business Analyst.
DACH consulting internship

Program description: In this 10-12 week internship, participants will work on our Automotive and Industrials, Retail, or Risk Advisory teams depending on their interest and experience. Interns will work on impactful client projects and receive continuous mentoring and coaching throughout the program.

US Internship opportunities
Turnaround & Restructuring summer internship
Office: New York

Target candidates: Undergraduate students with a major or concentration in business, finance, accounting, economics, or related field of study
Program description: 10-week internship with options for interns to focus on either our bankruptcy case management services or restructuring advisory. Over the past 40 years, we’ve helped our clients around the world on some of the largest and most high-profile bankruptcies and restructurings, assisting companies as they contend with financial, strategic, and operational challenges.
- Restructuring advisory: Steward clients through their most urgent situations with liquidity management, business plan support, liability management, and analysis of strategy alternatives. Assist in stabilizing finances through technical analyses and stakeholder support.
- Bankruptcy case management: Recover value and be a part of the team providing end-to-end bankruptcy and insolvency case management services to clients in turmoil. Work on Chapter 11 and other insolvency processes, contingency planning and first day motions, Chapter 11 reporting, and claims administration.
US MBA summer internship
Office: Interns may live in any US location but must be able to travel to their project site weekly

Program description: Sitting in our Performance and Technology group, interns will embed with a client project team through the duration of 10-week program. Interns will receive coaching, mentoring, and ongoing feedback from senior leaders and develop their networks by participating in several social events. Target candidates: Undergraduate and Master’s students with a major or concentration in finance, accounting, economics, data information sciences, data science, business analytics, or related field of study
Program description: 10-week internship with options for interns to focus on Investigations, Disputes, & Economics Consulting, eDiscovery & Digital Forensics, or Risk Analytics. Increased regulatory and reporting requirements, the exponential growth of data and the complexity of litigation requires a comprehensive approach to investigations, disputes and other advisory challenges with a front-footed strategy, cutting-edge technological tools and vetted expertise.
- Investigations, Disputes, & Economics Consulting: Help conduct accounting investigations and address situations related to accounting and reporting concerns, anti-money laundering (AML), self-dealing and diversion of assets, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), trading practices, price fixing, and whistleblower complaints. When a client is facing a dispute, provide support on every aspect of the case, from early case assessment discovery or disclosure phases, through to expert evidence and trial. Additionally, provide deep economic analysis related to antitrust and competition, public policy, securities, and class actions.
- eDiscovery & Digital Forensics: In litigation matters, provide data collection, forensic analysis, and reporting. Be a part of the team that develops custom technology solutions across the entire eDiscovery spectrum, from identification, preservation, collection of data to processing, analytics, review, and productions for a litigation environment.
- Risk Analytics: Produce defensible data-driven resources through completeness and accuracy. Transparency and audibility in the analysis of large data sets help drive solutions for our clients when it really matters.
