AlixPartners Announces 12 Promotions to Managing Director

(January 20, 2016) – AlixPartners, the global business advisory firm, today announced the promotions of twelve directors to the position of Managing Director. The appointments were effective January 1, 2016.

Tokyo

Takuro Ueji, in AlixPartners’ Enterprise Improvement practice, is a supply chain expert with extensive experience in strategic consulting, private equity, and commercial banking. Since joining the Tokyo office in 2009, Takuro’s business development skills, client service mentality, and accomplishments in delivery have been instrumental to the private equity and supply chain markets.

AMERICAS

Boston

Matt Jacques, in AlixPartners’ Financial Advisory Services practice, demonstrates a strong commitment to the firm by bringing his more than 16 years of experience as an accountant, auditor, regulator, and advisor to the firm’s clients across all industries. Prior to joining AlixPartners, Matt was a member of the Enforcement Division of the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), with a focus on financial and accounting fraud investigations.

Chicago

Marc Brown, in AlixPartners’ Financial Advisory Services practice, is a leader in the firm’s valuation practice, helping clients in litigation, transactions, and restructurings achieve successful outcomes. Marc has significant experience in the automotive, chemicals, real estate, healthcare, telecom, professional services, and technology industries and is a frequent speaker on topics including distressed valuation and bankruptcy litigation.

Rob Sterner, in AlixPartners’ Enterprise Improvement practice, delivers memorable results for the firm by applying his extensive background in consumer products. He is proficient at developing and executing opportunities on the front-end of the value chain, specifically in sales, marketing, and pricing. 

Los Angeles

Duane Selby, in AlixPartners’ Enterprise Improvement practice, demonstrates an expansive range of consulting skills in designing, leading, and executing engagements across multiple industry sectors. With more than 25 years of experience in sales and operations strategy, pricing, merger integration, and customer-product profitability improvement, he has played a leading role in the firm’s Growth and Life Sciences practices.

New York

Esben Christensen, in AlixPartners’ Turnaround & Restructuring practice, has an extensive knowledge of the shipping and transportation industry from a domestic and an international perspective. He demonstrates broad versatility as a consultant, an interim executive, and an advisor, consistently delivering high-impact cost management strategies through his assignments across the world.

Kurt Schnaubelt, in AlixPartners’ Enterprise Improvement practice, has more than 29 years of experience in the hospitality industry, as well as extensive experience serving in various senior financial leadership roles. He has been a key contributor in the development of the firm’s Restaurant, Foodservice, and Hospitality practice.

Tom Antisdel, in AlixPartners’ Information Management Services practice, has played a critical leadership role in building and maintaining relationships with clients. Since joining the firm in 2010, Tom has brought business to his colleagues across all practices, and has directly contributed to significant financial growth and profitability at AlixPartners. He is a leader in client service and business development.

Catherine Sherwin (née Tye), in AlixPartners’ Information Management Services practice, has played a critical role in expanding the firm’s IT services business in the UK and assisting with its growth throughout Europe. She provides in-depth knowledge in high-stakes complex IT transformation programs, IT strategic sourcing, and global IT governance.

James Worsnip, in AlixPartners’ Financial Advisory Services practice, is a leader in AlixPartners’ valuation practice in the UK, where he advises clients on value-related issues in the banking sector addressing concerns ranging from strategic advisory to litigation assistance. He is an innate team collaborator whose commitment to the firm is demonstrated through his client relationships and excellent service delivery.

Munich

Carsten Koenig, in AlixPartners’ Turnaround & Restructuring practice, has been instrumental in building the firm’s service to clients across Europe in several industries, including offshore wind, engineered products, automotive, and aerospace & defense. He has served as a C-level interim manager in various distressed situations, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of the restructuring and turnaround industries.

Markus Mantwill, in AlixPartners’ Enterprise Improvement practice, has 20 years of experience in leading large scale multinational holistic turnarounds and transformations. He has served as both a consultant and an executive manager in Europe, Asia, and the United States, in particular with companies operating in technology, media, and telecoms industries.
