AlixPartners participates in United Nations World Down Syndrome Day 2018 conference

NEW YORK (March 21, 2018) – AlixPartners, the global consulting firm, today participated in the United Nations World Down Syndrome Day 2018 conference in New York. The firm was represented by Peter Saville, Managing Director, and Andrew Constable, London Facilities Manager.

At the conference, Peter and Andrew participated in a panel discussion, joined by representatives from other major employers, and spoke about AlixPartners’ commitment to providing a workplace that is inclusive of people from all backgrounds, including those with disabilities. Peter and Andrew also discussed their personal experiences working with an AlixPartners employee with Down syndrome and shared best practices for companies considering similar programs.

“I’ve been delighted to see the positive impact that working with employees with Down syndrome can have both on the individuals themselves and their colleagues,” said Peter Saville. “I am grateful for the opportunity to share our amazing experience, learnings and best practices with other employers at the United Nations conference.
