AlixPartners Bolsters Tokyo Office, Appointing Takuro Ueji as Partner and Managing Director and Co-Japan Representative

NEW YORK (August 28, 2023) – AlixPartners, the global consulting firm, has announced that Takuro Ueji has rejoined the firm as Partner and Managing Director, Co-Japan representative, effective on August 28. Mr. Ueji will be responsible for overseeing AlixPartners' business in Japan, along with Mr. Tsutomu Noda, serving as Co-Japan representative.

Mr. Ueji has over 25 years of experience in achieving step-change improvements in cash flow, profitability and enterprise value for clients. He developed his results-focused consulting skills during his earlier tenure at AlixPartners. Most recently, he was Managing Director & Partner at Boston Consulting Group, where he led their turnaround and transformation service in the Northeast Asia region.

With the addition of Mr. Ueji as Co-Japan representative, AlixPartners will leverage its long-standing track record and expertise in company turnarounds, transformations, and value enhancement programs to further strengthen its market presence in these areas where needs are expected to increase in the coming years. Mr. Ueji will also aid AlixPartners in their efforts to expand their presence in the fast-growing Japanese market.
