Auto industry expert Fabian Piontek joins AlixPartners as Managing Director

NEW YORK (January 10, 2022) – AlixPartners, the global consulting firm, continues to solidify its leading market position in German automotive consulting with the addition of Fabian Piontek to the firm’s Germany Automotive practice as a Managing Director.

Fabian Piontek brings extensive experience in the automotive industry, having worked for 18 years at Porsche Consulting GmbH in Stuttgart. His consulting focus is on supply chain management, quality management and compliance issues, especially for OEMs. He is a specialist in the transformation of companies, in particular the digitalization of functional areas in order to modernize them and achieve efficiency gains. In addition, he helps companies ensure product and process maturity for product launches. Fabian led restructuring programs at a commercial vehicle manufacturer as well as the right-sizing of a sports luxury OEM, among others. He holds a degree in industrial engineering from the University of Karlsruhe.
