For more than two decades, Kai has used the power of facts and financial analysis to quantify damages in international and investment arbitrations and litigations, perform forensic investigations, and evaluate and analyze assets and businesses. He led more than 200 engagements with values of up to €170 billion and involving entities from more than 53 different countries.
Kai has been consistently nominated as one of the ten “Most Highly Regarded Individuals” worldwide or “Thought Leaders Global Elite” by the “International Who’s Who of Commercial Arbitration” since 2015/16. He has been consistently recommended since 2012/13.
Kai studied at the HEC School of Management, Paris, and The Wharton School, Philadelphia, for his MBA (Dean’s List). He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Kai has received a certificate in IFRS from the ICAEW.
Kai has been named 'Arbitration Expert Witness of the Year' in the 2025 edition of the Lexology Index Awards (previously known as Who’s Who Legal). The awards highlight outstanding individual contributions, drawing on feedback from peers and clients, as well as evaluations of recent work reviewed through GAR and Lexology’s Index platform.
