Emily has a Bachelor of Science in business administration and accounting from the University of Mary Washington and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). She joined AlixPartners’ Risk practice in 2019 where she leverages her accounting and audit background to support clients in a wide range of matters involving corporate investigations and litigation support.

Among other things, Emily has analyzed a Fortune 500 company’s percentage of completion (“POC”) accounting in response to an SEC investigation, presented to the SEC on the findings of a revenue recognition review for a Company with a whistleblower complaint, conducted forensic accounting investigations related to various fraud schemes, embezzlements, and other employee misconducts, and provided litigation analysis and assisted in expert-witness reporting writing across various litigation matters, such as breach-of-contract disputes.

She is analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about adding value to her clients. She also enjoys fitness, real-estate investing and travelling.
