With over 10 years of global business experience, Lydia excels in operational excellence, strategic project management, process management, and continuous improvement. She has worked with multiple industry-leading OEMs in the wind industry.

Previously, Lydia was a senior manager at Vestas, where she gained expertise in change management, performance improvement, cost reduction, and operational management. Before her tenure at Vestas, she held various roles at Senvion (acquired by Siemens Gamesa), including operational management of wind farms.

Relevant experience:

  • Led 2 workstreams of a large task force of a major renewable energy OEM to address quality issues. In her role, she steered the activities of the workstreams in close alignment with the client’s task force head and executive management team. Moreover, she acted as trusted sparring partner and advisor to the top management as well as the client’s operations head on task force related matters, including decision making, priority setting and navigating complex or difficult situations.
  • Lead of several major strategy, operations redesign, and footprint projects, at leading wind turbine OEMs.
  • Implementation of a Global Operating Model in onshore and offshore service operations in the wind industry (maintenance and overhaul) with focus on cultural change incl. digital transformation and related to the following building blocks: processes, roles, organization, system, data management.
  • Program management of a global strategy program for wind OEM with focus on cost reduction and reduction of footprint complexity including required cultural change campaign reporting to CEO.
  • Strategy development and management for post-merger recovery of service operations after insolvency of a wind OEM.
  • Interim senior management of operational wind service business during insolvency, including customer negotiations, operational stabilization and merger and acquisition.
