David brings over two decades of experience across the aerospace and defense ecosystem – front RDT&E to frontline operations - helping deliver enduring improvements in operational performance and strategic clarity for partners at government agencies, defense organizations, commercial OEMs, suppliers, and private equity firms.
He focuses on designing and implementing large scale performance improvement programs, digital & operational transformations, and growth strategies, having led numerous efforts to increase manufacturing productivity and quality, MRO throughput for engines, components and ships, fleet sustainment levels, capital efficiency, and reduced costs.
Prior to joining AlixPartners, David was an officer in the US Navy where he served as a Fellow for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency advising a portfolio of developmental technologies, an FA-18 weapons and tactics instructor, and in multiple operational leadership positions during his three overseas deployments.
David's graduate studies include Aeronautics & Astronautics at MIT, including CFD-based gas turbine research, Systems Engineering at the Naval Postgraduate School, and Innovation at Stanford University
