Bret has more than 20 years of financial and operational experience in such industries as energy, media and entertainment, retail, residential mortgage, automotive, healthcare, manufacturing, and telecom. He has provided interim management and advisory services for troubled companies and their lenders in both bankruptcy and out-of-court situations. Bret’s expertise covers many areas of restructuring, such as creditor negotiations, liquidity management, financial planning, bankruptcy preparation and reporting, asset disposition, and operational wind-downs. Previously, he was a consultant at PwC, performing a range of operational and financial assignments in the healthcare industry.
Bret has a Bachelor of Arts in business economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor and a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute.
